Where To Find Sim Settlements Holotape

Sim Settlements 2: any way to 'cheat finish the quests' withint bugs? NB: i am aware of the Holotape that cheats all items, but it does not complete any quests I encountered a huge bug at the end of the mod - by that time it was already too late and the game and saves broke. Sep 05, 2017 Sim Settlements needs for you 'find' the Sim Settlements holotape called 'City Manager 2078 Holotape' (in game) before you can start using Sim Settlements. Once you find the 'City Manager 2078 Holotape' and load it in your Pip-Boy it will officially activate the Sim Settlements mod and you can officially start using Sim Settlements to build.

Holotape Locations

Museum of Freedom

Located on the third floor of the building on the left before reaching Preston Garvey. The holotape and ASAM sensors are located on a desk and surrounding file cabinets.

Boston Mayoral Shelter

Located in a storage room at the very back of the shelter. The holotape and ASAM sensors are on the first shelf to the left of the door.

West Everett Estates

Located in an unfinished structure next to construction equipment. The holotape and ASAM sensors are on a pallet truck in the center of the structure.

Sensor Locations

ASAM Sensors have been added in to the general vendor list, so many sell them. The can be 'bought' for 0 caps, as they have been set to have no value. If you are struggling to find them, try vendors like Proctor Teagan, Trashcan Carla, and the many vendors in Diamond City.

Troubleshooting

Missing mod files when using NMM

Sometimes, depending on your local configuration and/or version of Nexus Mod Manager, you may run into an issue where activating a large mod (like Sim Settlements) does not extract the .ba2 files correctly. Running Nexus Mod Manager as an Administrator seems to work around the problem. Here are some potential solutions to the problem:

  • Ensure your Virtual Install folder is on the same drive letter as your Fallout 4 installation.
  • Ensure your Nexus Mod Manager is updated to the latest version.
  • Downgrade to version 0.61.21 which does not use virtual folders.
  • Continue to run Nexus Mod Manager as an Administrator (not recommended).
